EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Aaron Rodgers hooked up with an old friend for the New York Jets ' first touchdown vs. the New England Patriots on Monday night -- a 10-yard pass to wide receiver Allen Lazard, who celebrated by handing the ball to his quarterback. It was Rodgers' first touchdown as a Jet in MetLife Stadium.

The MetLife crowd erupted in "AARON RODGERS!" chants in the third quarter after the Jets took a 21-3 lead and got the ball back. Through three quarters leading up to the chants, Rodgers completed 24 of 30 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns—one to his former teammate Allen Lazard and the other to star wide receiver Garrett Wilson.
