Google has announced a partnership with Masimo to build a reference platform for OEMs to use for health and fitness when developing Wear OS watches.

Google is not slowing down in developing its operating system for smartwatches, Wear OS. The new collaboration with Masimo may result in greater diversity in the market, and manufacturers like Fossil may start offering their models again.
