It's a good museum, and it's worth visiting when in Oslo. It is well organized and has a big shop on the ground floor. Entrance is free with the Oslo Pass. Full review by AnatoliZ

Staff were attentive but it opened at exact 11am though it was raining outside. Small collection of Viking artefacts. Can give a miss if there is shortage of time. Full review by Piprey-on-wheels
