WEBC57 mice are notoriously mean. If you’re uncomfortable/unskilled I would recommend practicing your restraint on a nicer/calm strain of mice. Balb/c mice are small and very calm/nice. CD1 mice are nice but very large so they might not be the best to practice your restraint if you have smaller hands.
